Treyarch and Activision have really outdone themselves with this one. Like they've really outdone themselves.
The team is set to launch the latest DLC add-on for Black Ops, Escalation, on May 3rd but until now, they've been pretty quiet about the Zombies map, Call of the Dead. Today, however, they lifted the lid on the project and we are definitely impressed by what we're seeing.
'Call of the Dead' will feature a stunning cast of characters, voice acted and motion captured by Robert Englund (best known as Freddy Krueger), Michael Rooker (from The Walking Dead), Danny Trejo (most recently from Machete) and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
To top it all off, the story behind Call of the Dead was inspired by legendary film director George Romero, who also stars in the level as himself.
Treyarch have really put together a Zombie experience here that fans of the genre will be blown away by. Escalation launches on May 3rd, first on Xbox Live - followed up on PlayStation Network and PC soon after.
