When you think of Crysis 2, what are your first feelings? Graphical advances? Advanced AI? Well, for me, it probably wouldn't have been emotion. However, this new trailer proves me very wrong indeed.
New York has been hit by aliens and by the looks of things, it's not too friendly in the Big Apple. The trailer begins with a look at photos of friends and relatives from New York. Writings such as 'Meet us at Central Park Evac' point to these people being lost and unable to escape the terror. We then glimpse the military, inbound in choppers, only to be ripped from the sky.
The trailer is set to a cover of New York, and it proves very powerful for the storyline. Perhaps one of the reasons for such focus on story is that British novelist Richard Morgan is the writer for the sequel. You can read a very interesting preview over at Destructoid. In the meantime, I'm going to sit back and wait to hear from Crytek about some very exiting content for you people. I'll keep you posted. You, however, should watch the video, below.
